Ukraine WOW has been extended until November 30. Free tickets are available for internally displaced persons and families of Ukrainian defenders

In just one month, Ukraine WOW — the interactive exhibition dedicated to Ukraine — has welcomed 80,000 visitors and raised ₴3.1 million for Ukrainian museums. Due to the overwhelming public interest, the project has been extended until November 30 inclusive. Thanks to Ukrainian businesses, free tickets will now be available for internally displaced persons and families of Ukrainian defenders.

Ukraine WOW features over 100 exhibits and dozens of interactive zones. Visitors can see a 20-meter Cossack boat (chaika), Ivan Mazepa’s saber and a sword from Kyivan Rus times, fly in virtual reality over Bakota, Syvash and the Carpathians, step into the final rehearsal of MUR’s Rebellion or the set of The Witch of Konotop, and discover Ukrainian WOW moments from the years of independence — from Eurovision trophies to Andriy Shevchenko’s Ballon d’Or.

The 3 most popular zones are an endless wheat field made from 110,000 ears of wheat, a pond with water lilies, and a green meadow that evokes childhood memories.

“Despite the full-scale war, Ukraine WOW gathered 80,000 visitors in just one month — that’s as many as a sold-out Olympiysky Stadium. People are coming from everywhere — Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and even frontline towns. We’ve also welcomed over 5,000 defenders and their families. The project has shown how deeply it resonates with attendees, so we’ve decided to extend Ukraine WOW until November 30.

We also receive hundreds of messages from those who wish to visit but can’t afford tickets. We’re happy to announce that, thanks to Ukrainian businesses, we’ll provide free tickets for internally displaced persons and families of Ukrainian defenders. The companies Genesis and InterChem have already confirmed sponsorship for 1,300 and 1,600 tickets, respectively — and this is just the beginning! We’re deeply grateful to every company ready to support Ukrainians. To receive these tickets, please fill out the form. We look forward to seeing everyone at Ukraine WOW,”

— share the project’s curators, Yaroslava Gres and Julia Solovey.

Over the past month, hundreds of public figures have visited the exhibition — among them Eric Schmidt, American entrepreneur and former CEO of Google; Nemo, winner of Eurovision 2024; Haider Rothschild Huzir, producer of Rock, Paper, Scissors (whose BAFTA award is on display at the exhibition); Frank Wilde, German stylist and blogger; Olha Kharlan, world fencing champion; Jamala, singer and Eurovision 2016 winner — and many others.

Ukraine WOW was created by the Ukraine WOW NGO and the Gres Todorchuk agency in collaboration with Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways). The project’s expert group includes Valeriy Pekar (business school lecturer), Anton Drobovych (philosopher), Oleksii Sokyrko (historian), and Kseniia Malykh (curator). Over 300 people contributed to its creation. Project partners include Avrora, ROZETKA, Visa, as well as InterChem, Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company, Everstake, and Bolt.
