"We reached out to Sharon Stone as part of a series of videos where global figures support Ukrainian culture. The first video featured Shchedryk with Barbra Streisand and Vera Farmiga. The second told the story of Oscar-winning Ukrainians, narrated by Robert De Niro, Liev Schreiber, Misha Collins, and Oleksandr Rudynskyi. We reached out to Sharon Stone with a request to talk about Ukrainian artists, and we were truly surprised when she not only responded, but recorded a video from her home standing next to Artur Soletskyi’s artwork. Ukraine needs support more than ever, and Ukrainian culture can be at the forefront of this fight for attention. The artwork, titled Great Little Dream was created by the artist in 2023. "About a year after the full-scale invasion began, an American wrote to me on Instagram. He asked if he could buy a painting for his friend. Of course, I was happy to oblige, but I never expected that this friend would turn out to be Sharon Stone herself. When I found out that my work was in her home, it was incredibly inspiring. Moments like this really make you understand the power of art and the impact it can have," shared Artur Soletskyi.
