Visitors can now explore the Ukraine WOW exhibition online, from the saber of Hetman Ivan Mazepa to the championship belt of boxer Oleksandr Usyk. They can stroll through the Tunnel of Love, step onto a frozen pond, read stories about Ukrainian warriors, rulers, thinkers and artists, then test their knowledge with an interactive quiz. Anywhere in the world, any time.
The virtual tour is now available on the eMuseum platform with the support of Visa. All exhibition texts are accessible in both Ukrainian and English.
The Ukraine WOW exhibition was open from September 26 to January 11 in a dedicated space on Platform 14 of Kyiv Central Railway Station. During that time, it welcomed more than 250,000 visitors from every region of Ukraine and over 30 countries worldwide, including more than 50,000 free admissions. More than 12 million UAH was raised to support museums and charitable foundations.

“For the three and a half months that Ukraine WOW was open, there was not a single day when we didn’t receive messages asking whether the exhibition would travel or open abroad. We are grateful to Visa for making this virtual tour possible, allowing everyone to experience Ukraine WOW online.
Come and explore the Scythian gold from Crimea and the field of 110,000 wheat stalks, learn the stories of Borys Mozolevskyi and Mykhailo Boim, see the Oscar, BAFTA, Eurovision trophies and sports cups, as well as the train carriage where the Act of Unification between the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the West Ukrainian People’s Republic was signed in 1919.
This project was created with great love, and we hope you feel it even through a screen,” say Ukraine WOW founders Yaroslava Gres and Julia Solovey.
The interactive Ukraine WOW exhibition features more than one hundred exhibits and dozens of interactive zones. Visitors could travel across Ukraine using VR headsets, feel connected to outstanding Ukrainians of the past, and take pride in contemporary achievements that continue to inspire despite the challenges of war. It can now be explored online, with all texts available in both Ukrainian and English at wow.emuseum.ua. Besides the virtual tour, a VR version of Ukraine WOW is available exclusively on Visa's website.
“Ukraine WOW became a space where Ukrainian heritage came alive through modern ideas and technologies. It was a place where the past meets the future, and culture became a source of new meanings and opportunities.
For Visa, this project is especially important because it brought together values we share: openness to the world, a commitment to innovation, and support for communities. Thanks to modern technology, Ukraine WOW is now accessible wherever you are and whenever it is convenient for you,” comments Tetiana Chorna, Vice President and Country Manager of Visa in Ukraine.
